Ingredients of Malabar Fish Curry

Fish curry or fish gravy accompanied with hot steamed rice is one of my favorite lunch meals and of course for many of us. My family loves curry fish with coconut than without coconut recipe. So, I often make this fish recipe which is the traditional Malabar. Add chopped onions, green chillies, ginger, curry leaves and mustard seeds.

  1. Start with, adding grated coconut along with turmeric in a grinding jar and grind to a fine paste. Next step is to take pan, put a pan over medium flame and add a tablespoon of coconut oil in it. When the oil is hot enough, add finely chopped green chilies and ginger in it. Saute for a few seconds and then add red chili powder along with tamarind paste and salt as per your taste. Stir and mix well, and cook for 2-5 minutes.
